What if ZEROES are start points for HEROES?

What if ZEROES are start points for HEROES?

Dr. Williams said as he walked out of the lecture hall after taking us through a thorough session of self-discovery and Career building.

I sat at the front row of the class, with several thoughts running through my mind as I tried to ruminate on the question just dropped by the Lecturer. A few seconds later I was jerked back to reality with a tap on my shoulder by my newly acquired friend Josephine. A beautiful and warm-hearted lady with radiation of brilliance that I couldn't help but notice her astonishing presence when we walked past each other on the first day of our resumption at the University of Stirling, Scotland.

I packed my bags hurriedly and we both left the lecture room for our hostel. On our way, we gisted about how privileged we were to be running our master's degree and favorite course, Digital media, and communications at the prestigious university. For me, it was indeed a dream come true and an opportunity I least expected.

I have always considered traveling out for my master's degree but I had no idea it would come this early and easily. Processing my traveling was like starting from ground zero and I gladly looked forward to the day I would reach the hundredth, pack my bags, and wave goodbye to well-wishers at the airport. The consistent push for me was the mindset of starting from somewhere no matter how little and so this was more like an answer to my lecturer's question, indeed Heroes are made out of Zeroes.

I said in my mind, " God is indeed faithful, to have brought me this far!"

When we got to the hostel, I had to fix something for myself and Josephine to munch on before we go out again to study at the library. After eating we both jumped on our beds to continue our discussions and before we knew it, we dozed off during the conversation.

I was the first to wake up and was surprised at the first person I saw. Behold! It was my roommate in Nigeria and she had been trying to wake me up from sleep.

Oh, my daze! I shouted as I checked the time and discovered that I was running late for work in NIGERIA!!! The look on my face clearly communicated my annoyance to my roommate and she couldn't help but burst into laughter because of my reactions.

I love to dream but this was exceptional and I didn't want to wake up to realize that the dream is yet to be a reality. By the way, wish me luck on my Journey to actualizing this dream of mine with God on my side.

I hope I made you smile with my story and if you are also like me hoping to wake up to the actualization of your dreams then here's my little advice, "Don't give up just yet, because your success story can only be best told by YOU". So hang in there and stay jiggy!

Enjoy the rest of the week and don't hesitate to contact me for your content writing projects.
