It's Official, here comes my second chance!💃

Yes, a second chance at success!

Flash back to December 2021, I attended an interview and shared a story about it here on my blog post.

I was so much excited when I got the job because it's a role I've always wanted to assume and for me it was more than just getting a job and starting off as an employee in another office space.

It was the fulfillment I derived from churning out creative content at every chance I get.

I had imagined working in an organization where I would be able to further explore my skills but this was exceptional, with amazing experiences, traveling opportunities, and a group of wonderful people to work with.

I learnt a bunch of new things right on the job and I'm excited at the level of tremendous growth I've been through.

Starting the job felt like a really crazy idea because I had left a full time job offer that I got from another company at the same time for this particular job that was just meant to last 3 months.

I blindly trusted God without looking back and hoped that it was all going to be worth it in the end and of course it was!

Now the most amazing part was when I woke up this morning to receive an email that my employment contract had been renewed and that I'll be joining the organization on the next phase of a major project we embarked on 3 months ago.

About that same 3 months ago everyone thought I was crazy for choosing a 3-month contract job over a full-time job.

At a point I also almost couldn't hold on to my hope, but the only thing that kept me going nevertheless were the precious words in the Bible which says; "All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose".

It also says that "the gift of a man, makes way for him", mine did and still does and I'm very certain that yours definitely will if only you keep holding on to that hope, trust God and give no chance for negativity.

All it does is rob you of the chance at success, don't let it!

It's a new week and here are 4 new things I look forward to doing this week.
1. Meet someone new and build a connection
2. Try out something new (food/habit/games)
3. Learn a new skill/language
4. Travel to a new place

In case you are also a perfectionist like me when it comes to writing posts and blogs then you should take a seat at this point, I promise not to take so much of your time. Welcome to the group chat of people who write a million times before they get the right words to post on social media.
